When the power is switched on, the electric motor starts and drives the oil pump shaft through the flexible coupling mounted on the motor shaft. The driving and driven gears inside the oil pump rotate at high speed, creating suction and discharge zones within the pump housing. Lubricating oil from the gearbox is drawn into the pump through the connecting pipe, then discharged from the outlet under pressure. After passing through the hydraulic control system to perform its functions, the oil returns to the gearbox, forming a continuous circulation loop that ensures effective lubrication and cooling of the gearbox.
