GWL28.30 reduction gear without reverse function corresponds to the GWC model in that it has a primary and a reduction stage. Input and output are coaxial and have the same sense of rotation.

The Advance marine gearbox GWL28.30 can not be held responsible for torsional problems arising from the drive system. We therefore recommend that a calculation and adjustment for the vibrational data of the ship’s entire drive system should be performed including the torsional compatibility of the gearbox.
